We went on a Sunday evening and had no problem being seated for our party of 4. The verde salsa and chips and queso dip were perfect appetizers to go with our cocktails. The enchilada stack was savory and delicious, and my husband loved the spaghetti verde! Attentive service and great food! Also don't forget to take some pictures with the wall of phones - brought back some fun memories of the old phones we Gen Xers used to have in our homes!
Never been to this place but heard they were having an Oli Bea pop up brunch! So we had to come check it out! Food was great, atmosphere was great service was great, only thing that was annoying if they changed me for a coffee refile and didn’t let me know there would be a charge… I hate that lol… also coffee refile should be free it was nothing fancy. Other than that I go back to try the normal menu.
I failed you all as a fellow reviewer and forgot to take a picture of my food and drink. But I can honestly say that I’m happy I stumbled upon this place. As soon as you entered your head with the aromas From the open kitchen concept. I expected to walk in looking for a classic Mexican style menu, But instead, I received a menu that revealed fun twist on the traditional dishes. The flavors were great, and the drinks were even greater flexing an extensive “0 additive” tequila menu. I loved the ambience! Will sure be coming back.

The best new spot in Knoxville! The food is great and you can tell the owners really take pride in the food, drinks and over all vibe of Chismoso. The wings are a favorite, but you can’t go wrong with anything you try! Update- they started doing brunch on Saturdays and it is truly the best in Knox. The steak hash is my favorite but I’ve tried everything they offer and you really can’t go wrong!

The place has a fun vibe. Our server, Kendra was wonderful. She was friendly and professional. The food was delicious. Even their queso was a set above and the carne asada fries are amazing!
10/10 experience! The workers really take pride in making sure you’re taken care of. The drinks tasted fresh and liquor phenomal! We were told there’s no additives in the liquor used which is why it went down smooth when drinking. As far as the food, you can’t go wrong with the tacos. The corn tortillas are good enough to eat on their own and do NOT taste store bought but handmade. Also they’re nice and full so I was satisfied with the 2 served on my plate. The cheese inside these tacos is seared to give that extra flavor. The restaurant itself looks like a tight space but the workers make any spot work for your party. We were lucky to get the window seat and just take in the cool decor that makes this place “chismoso” and people watched. Definitely a cool date spot or fun night out with the gals Vegetarian lovers or meat eaters will each have a space on the menu. E.T mushroom tacos for vegetarian and pork for latter.
